Hello, my name’s Tiffany. I’m a writer, and I program cultural and creative events for public libraries.

After a squiggly path of interning for a fashion magazine then working in cocktail bars, a casino, public relations, a media and events company, writing and editing, journalism, a day spa and a bookshop (should I also mention I was once paid to read tarot and DJ?) — I’ve now found my forever home in libraries. The dots do, eventually, connect.

My original dream was to run a not-cultlike-at-all countryside retreat that hosts literary and wellness events, but it turns out taking care of raw hectares of land is a lot of work. It’s also very expensive. So watching other people’s rural gardening vlogs will have to do, and the next best thing for me is a library, which is basically the same thing, but in an urban environment.

This is the part where I’m more serious and tell you why libraries matter so much to me, but I won’t.

I told my manager that I’ll still be here even if I get a million bucks and a huge Netflix deal for my first novel, which I’m still working on, to which she replied: “Yeah, let’s chat again when that happens.”

Anyway, why am I here, and why are you here? I’m not accepting freelance writing gigs anymore, so this website is kind of redundant now. But maybe you’re here for a different reason, in which case I’m sorry to say you won’t find much more beyond this rambling of words. Feel free to email me though. And if you haven’t in a while, visit your local library. Rediscovering them as an adult is the best.
